I make this watch box from solid wenge, a dark, heavy hardwood with a tight, striped grain. It holds eight watches. Each compartment is felt-lined and comes with its own watch pillow, so your watches sit snug and don't slide around.

The lid sits on 90 degree brass hinges and stays open while you pick a watch. I build every box to order in my shop in Mesa, Arizona, so the grain on yours will look a little different from the photos.
